Individualised Clinical Assessment
With an emphasis on getting to know you, we utilise specialist clinical assessment to classify your scar and provide tailored recommendations to what will best optimise the scars maturity.
With HD Photography in order to track your scar’s response to treatment, we will review your scars from session to session to track changes.
Should you have upcoming surgeries, we are also able to provide risk scores and arrange for advanced follow up so we can proactively manage your scar after the wound has healed.
Bespoke Splinting
We have experience using a range of different silicone products, ranging from clear gels to silicone patches. Using our skills and by getting to know you, we can identify the most appropriate product for your scar to maintain hydration and internal scar balance.
Targeted Rehabilitation
We are able to provide compression through bespoke made to measure lycra garments - through the Jobskin premium range
With frequent assessment we are able to ensure each garment provides most effective compression over your scars
Functional Advice
ScarWork is a specialised manual treatment developed to lightly improve tissue health by impacting on scar mobility, sensitivity or numbness, colour, residual discomfort.
We are certified to provide this treatment and are on the national register
Wound Management
Para-Medical Colour Matching services for visual scars with specialist waterproof camouflages.
We will teach you various methods of colour matching techniques with a professional range of products.
Specialist Scar Management
Our practitioners are specialised Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists, who have skills in individualising a treatment plan for you.
Through clinical assessment, we can support you in identifying problematic areas due to your scarring and offer recommendations and exercises
Other Therapeutic Modalities
We can advise you on how to apply Kinesiology (sports) tape to areas that are under significant scar tension. This can offload areas that feel restrictive, allowing tissue to move more freely.
